Melbourne Star invites you to experience Melbourne in a whole new way. Day or night, you'll feel on top of the world as the Star glides on its gentle arc through the sky. The only giant observation wheel in the Southern Hemisphere and one of only four in the world.

Guests will enjoy uninterrupted 360-degree views of up to 40 kilometres encompassing the Docklands precinct, Melbourne's CBD, Port Phillip Bay and as far as Mount Macedon, Arthur's Seat and the Dandenong Ranges.

Melbourne Star is the Southern Hemisphere's only giant observation wheel and the first, more complex, solid steel wheel design to be built in the world to this size.

Each Melbourne Star rotation takes approximately 30 minutes. During peak periods, this may be reduced slightly.

A Sights & Lights flight is a combination ticket providing you with the opportunity to experience the two faces of Melbourne -  by day and by dusk/evening.  Once your first Sights & Lights flight is redeemed, your second flight must be taken within 30 days, or prior to the ticket expiry date if less than 30 days, of your first flight being redeemed.
